The internet of course, is one of the most important technological advances in the last twenty years and has changed the world we live in for the better. However, at the heart of this phenomenon are web page designers (and web developers) who create the websites we visit every day.
Web designers and developers are the ones who know the meaning behind jargon such as HTML, XHTML, XML, W3C standards and much more as they create web sites with the content we enjoy all of the time. The two forms are distinct, however, with web designers being the ones who specifically make web pages, whilst web developers create all kinds of internet based content. Web pages are usually distinguished between static and dynamic. Static pages remain the same and do not change in content or layout unless a web master or programmer manually updates it themselves. Dynamic pages can change via the input of the end-user user scripting codes such as Java Script and Actionscript etc.
Web designers will create web sites based on either of these models and over the years the disciplines can only improve as workers in the industry specialise further and further.
